Normalcy Bias

Employment is at 15.9%, what was $100 in July of 2008 is now $103.25, people are earning $0.09 less YOY for March, US Government Public Debt Outstanding is passed the legal ceiling, crude oil prices have skyrocketed since the decade of the 1990s , and the most viewed shows on TV are still idol worshiping fantasy workshops meant to distract from all this reality.  Most people still need to become aware of the realities of life.  If this country were a business, we would expect each of us to have a vested interest in the abilities of our "co-workers".  We want smart people working with us so we can create the best possible corporation.  The problem appears to be that people feel they have a "right" to relax on weekends (which you do have) however; just because the right exists does not mean it is always rational to exercise it and that exercising such a right does have consequences.  Many of us who study the things that directly affect this life and well being are growing sick and tired of hearing people with Coach purses and LaCoste shoes bitching about filling up their fully loaded Chrysler crossover while their kid plays his P2P and scarfs down McDonald's.
Now for the conspiracy tinted part.  The TV networks are aiding the Federal Government in the leading of these discussions (would you donate money to a party A or party B then report the grim reality of the mess party A or party B caused?).  Some people we know have been able to break free of having their "favorite" TV news station tell them what their reality should be.  We have highlighted Cramer's manipulation, many of us know of Olbermann's issue, and don't forget what Larry King said to Bill Clinton.  These people know what power they posses over you.

Those who had their 401(K) rocked in 2008 are now happy that they have earned most of that back in the market.  Many feel wealthier not realizing that with the dollar decline their purchasing power is down 0.18% YTD.  Its time for the people of the world to stop letting their governments and their distracters lie and manipulate them.  Life is too short to be working 9-5, 5 days/week, and 50 weeks out of 52 weeks per year just so that the government can tax you on your God given skill and squander your cash.  Elections are lies and so are the campaign attempts leading up to it, yet every 4 years American's voice opinions and miss an hour of work to go vote.  These guys in power are assholes.  Investigators will be hard pressed to find a material amount of our Federal employees that think of how their actions will affect you.  Soretoro promised to reduce foreign oil dependence.  He issued a drilling moratorium and then praised the USA's desire to purchase oil from Brazil. Fucking idiot.

As a people we need to step up and take control before the US government morphs into a World government with other countries.  President Soretoro has already signed an agreement to let international regulatory authority set compensation policies for American corporations.  As more people desire the Normalcy Bias view and choose to ignore the complex intricacies of government, expect to be ruled by more and more of your inferiors.  This is what most people miss and never get to research because they choose to exercise their right to relax on weekends when their 9-5 is over.  If Americans didn't watch the ignorant overpaid children (the NFL) for a year and dedicated that time to studying how the powers that be lie and work the system, we would find that USA, Inc. would have "employees" that understand the business and what is needed to move it forward and make it possible for the "new employees" to have a place to work.  Instead though we have people glued to ESPN to find out the latest on the contract negotiations.  This is the group most likely that also complains about gas prices.

Remember when the current Treasury Secretary didn't pay his taxes?  This dickweed skipped on $34K in taxes and STILL WAS AFFIRMED.  To couple this "offense" this stupid ass tried to blame TurboTax.  Apparently Dartmouth doesn't enable its graduates to think on their own or do things on their own like Niagara University does.  It is pathetic that Timmy can't even manage his own taxes and somehow he still managed to get a job as the Treasury Secretary of the US.  When you compare Tim to JP Morgan of the early 1900s, you realize that even with the advances in technology, our government officials are dumber than ever.  JP Morgan restored order to a panicked market back in 1907, before computers and all this "stuff" that should be making life easier.  Even more so this fucker has made statements that they will hammer down more on tax evaders.  Do these stupid fucks really think that the public would be willing to part with their money when the evidence of how it is spent are not flattering (or flattening for that matter)  Meanwhile this guy picked  up a half year in jail and 5 years probation for evading on $56K.  Apparently the American justice system sees the extra $22K as more damaging than the initial $34K since Jason went to jail and Geithner received a job promotion.

Study the world around you.  Stop falling for the herd behavior and let your stupid friends give you flack for staying in on weekends and studying because some day you'll rule them.  Again, education is why the rich get richer and the poor get poorer.  Look around.  How many of your friends have nice cars, top notch cell phones, high end clothes, and 4,000 square foot homes?  Capitalism brings with it an insatiable desire to consume material shit.  The iPhone is great but I've notice more people my age us it to update Facebook or check sport scores instead of using it to analyze data while waiting to be seated at their favorite restaurant.  If we rewind time back to before the Physical Silver bet, I would take that money and bet that if I walked my street I would find more iPhones will time killing apps downloaded on them than apps designed for intelligence gathering.  The problems this country faces have nothing to do with laws and the value of money.  The problems this country faces are borne from stupid, entitlement focused people.

Want some more?  I'll add a quote from Mat Taibbi article...."When Roger Clemens went to Washington and denied taking a shot of steroids in his ass, the feds indicted him — relying not on a year's worth of graphically self-incriminating e-mails, but chiefly on the testimony of a single individual who had been given a deal by the government. Yet the Justice Department has shown no such prosecutorial [sic] zeal since April 27th of last year, when the Goldman executives who oversaw the Timberwolf, Hudson and Abacus deals arrived on the Hill and one by one — each seemingly wearing the same mask of faint boredom and irritated condescension — sat before Levin's committee and dodged volleys of questions"
