Allergan Invokes Poison Pill

By now everyone is aware that publicly traded Valeant Pharmaceuticals ($VRX) has teamed up with Bill Ackman to purchase Allergan (a private firm), the Botox producer.  Allergan has a "poison pill" documented from 2012.  Valeant spiked on the news and most of us are aware of Ackmans somewhat skeptical purchasing of options hand over fist:
