"High-Frequency Trading or HFT or HHHFFFTTT - For The Sound Of Your Pension Evaporating"

For a break from all the seriousness we go to the November 14th edition of the Colbert Report.  He covered a segment on HFT which no doubt has its moments but also causes some pause as one considers how very little this audience knows about the rabbit hole of "Expert-networks", order types, fee structures, etc.  Aside from the very serious and very real problem being caused by for-profit exchanges catering to bad HFT with the use of order types only discoverable through the age old method of having a drink with some power individual, this audience I assure you has no idea the magnitude of problem they are laughing at.
